Muay Thai Demo at the Fiesta Asia Street Fair

The Pentagon MMA team had a blast this weekend demonstrating the art of Muay Thai at the Fiesta Asia Street Fair in Washington, DC. Despite the gloomy weather, we had an awesome audience and the rain held up. Our 20-minute demo started with the traditional Wai Kru, performed by professional Muay Thai fighter Mauricio Calvo, followed by pad holding, light sparring, and Warrior Kids demo. We wrapped up the demo by inviting audience members to hit the pads. Thanks to our fighters and staff who came to help: Gonzalo Acha, Brooks C. Miller, Nancy Tran, Jen Gaines, Russell, Krissy Howard, Vivek Nakarmi, Mauricio Calvo, Marcela Soto, and our Warrior Kids Max and Vasiliki.
