Guest Professional Muay Thai Fighters from Costa Rica

We are very excited to announce that we are bringing two professional Muay Thai fighters from Costa Rica who trained and fought in Thailand for over two years. Marcela “Baitong Sumalee” Soto is a professional female Muay Thai fighter with a record of 30-9-2. She is a Gold Medalist in the South American Championship League and a Bangla Boxing Stadium Champion, and also lived in Thailand as a sponsored fighter for Phromthep Muay Thai Gym and Sumalee Boxing Gym in Phuket. She is also a licensed Nutrionist with a Master’s Degree in Sports, Integral Health and Human Movement, often working with Muay Thai fighters in Thailand getting them ready for fights. Mauricio “Moe Sumalee” Calvo Siles has a professional Muay Thai fight record of 44-9-1 and also trained and fought in Thailand for several years with Marcela (he also happens to be her husband and trainer). He is an IKF World Muay Thai Semifinalist, an East USA Karate/Kickboxing Champion, and Certified Muay Thai Kru by Ajarn Soombon Tapina. His fighters have become IKF World Champions, Costa Rica National Champions, Bangla Boxing Stadium Champions, South American Champions, and Pan-American titleists. Mauricio and Marcela will be around for the next few weeks helping with class instruction and giving a few seminars, so make sure you take full advantage of their time here and their experience. They will also be helping the Fight Team train for the upcoming TCB Fights. Please be sure to say hi and welcome them to Pentagon MMA when you see them around, starting on Wednesday!
