Women’s Self-Defense Seminar Fundraiser for The Women’s Center

In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, on April 26, 2013, Pentagon MMA held a second Women’s Self-Defense Seminar to raise funds for The Women’s Center (www.thewomenscenter.org). We had a great time and came away with some serious self-defense skills. We are so excited to announce that we raised enough funds for The Women’s Center to cover about 6 reduced-fee sessions, or 25-30 sessions for very low-income clients! A huge thanks to David Carter for his instruction and assistance, to Rachel Porter from The Women’s Center for organizing this event, and to all of our male human body bag volunteers who were kind enough to assist.
