We are beyond excited to share some groundbreaking news with the Pentagon MMA community! Our very own Kru Vivek Nakarmi has been officially appointed as the Mid-Atlantic Regional Director for the World Boxing Association (WBC) USA Muay Thai.
This prestigious appointment took place in Bangkok, Thailand, in a special ceremony led by Colonel Thanapol Bakhdibhumi of WBC Muay Thai International and Patrick Rivera, the Chairman of WBC Muay Thai USA. The event marks an incredible milestone in Kru Vivek’s already remarkable career and for the Muay Thai scene in the United States.

A Vision for the Growth of Muay Thai in the US
Kru Vivek’s journey in Muay Thai began when he was a teenager, and since then, he’s spent over a decade teaching, training, and building a vibrant community around the sport. His dedication to the art is undeniable, having successfully operated a Muay Thai and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu school for more than 12 years.
As the newly appointed WBC USA Muay Thai Mid-Atlantic Regional Director, Kru Vivek is excited about what this role means for the future of Muay Thai in the US. He envisions a structured, ethical, and organized development of the sport, where practitioners and athletes can continue to grow and thrive in a well-supported environment.
